FALL SCHEDULE
Our Fall Classes begin Monday, September 12th! In order to reserve a place for your child, Return your Fall 2011 Registration Form along with a registration fee of $20.00 and your September Tuition payment is due upon Registration. Only one Registration Fee per family is charged. Add to your calendar!!- June Tuition will be due with your costume payment order in November.
Open Fall Registration Dates: Register at the studio between 6:00-7:30p on the September 1st.
First Position Open House: Wednesday, September 7th from 6-8p! Come into the studio to meet the teachers and visit the studio where your child will be dancing! We also will have performances by our Dance Company & Performance Team.
Tuition Payment Options:
First Position is now offering payment choices to our customers. Payments can be made with cash, checks, debit & credit cards. You will now have 3 options for your tuition payments. Please let us know at registration.
Monthly Payment as stated above due the 25th of each month. 2 Payments that will include a 5% discount. One payment due at registration and the second due with December Tuition. 1st payment includes Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. 2011 & June 2012 tuition. 2nd payment includes Jan., Feb. Mar. Apr. & May 2012 tuition. 1 Payment that will include a 10% discount. To be paid in full at registration. Our Monthly Tuition Fee is listed below. We do offer generous discounts for multiple classes per week and offer a Family rate for siblings. Please call the studio at 732-828-7399 or come into the studio for a complete Monthly Tuition fees.
One 45-Minute Class per student Fee: $56.00/mo.
One 1-Hour Class per student Fee: $60.00/mo.

Our Summer Session runs from the end of June through the month of July. We offer gymastics, jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, lyrical camps and Pre-School and Kinderdance Classes each week. Call 732-828-7399 for more information.
Our Summer Session is designed to fit your summer schedule. You will only be required to pay for classes, camps and clinics that you can attend. We like to keep our summer days flexible to work with our families and meet their needs. Our Summer Session does not require a Registration Fee.

Page 7 PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Annual Recital: All of our students are invited, not required, to perform at our annual recital. It is a great opportunity for our dancers young and old to show-off their talents to their family and friends.
Scarlettes Performance Company: Students are invited to our Performance Company based upon their entusiasm and love of dance and performing. Our dancers learn an up-beat crowd pleasing routine that they peform at parades, local fairs and community events. In addition, the Performance Company competes at a local dance competition in the spring.
Scarlettes Dance Company: Our dance company dancers and choreographers have been awarded numerous prestigious awards. The Scarlettes attend nationall recognized dance competitions and compete on both the regional and national level. First Position offers a challenging program for dancers that are committed to the art of dance and gymnastics. These students enjoy perfecting their technique in class, studying in New York City and Convenations throughout the tri-state area. Additionally they perform and support at local community and charitable events.

Our 2010-11 Scarlettes Season has been nothing less than spectacular! TheScarlettes were awarded Crystal, Diamond, Double Platinum and 5 Star Awards fortheir dancing, the choreographers awarded Most Entertaining, Best Choreography,a nomination for a People’s Choice Award!But the Scarlettes are set apart this season by raising over $2100.00 for theEmbrace Kids Foundation. We attended the Power of Dance Competition to giveback and make a difference by doing something we love to do! And we couldn't bemore proud of our studio, the teachers, dancers and parents for winning the TOPSTUDIO! Way to GO! The foundation is near and dear to Emily Amador, recentalum of the Scarlettes and cancer survivor. The Scarlettes were there to support anAmazing cause and at the end of the day they were able to touch the lives of thosestruggling, many that you will never meet, and THAT deserves a DIAMONDaward for each of you!Our lyrical routine “Crazy” choreographed by Ms. Lindsay, was nominated at theStarPower Competition for the Federation of Dance Competitions People’s ChoiceAward. This award is given to the Top Routine at the competition. First PositionSchool of Dance is also named The Top 50 Dance Studios by the FDC! WOW!To cap off our competition season, our “Too Darn Hot” Company Production wasawarded a Crystal 1st Place Production at Showstoppers and Grand Line Winner atStarpower! Our teachers, students & parents have much to be proud of & celebrate!We also recognize Cassie Yeung for Top Soloist at Power of Dance, StarPower andShowstopper competitions, and Nick, Matt, Camryn, Allie, Nikole, Nick & Cassie,“Wash that Man”, “New York New York”, “Crazy”, “Cha Cha Heels” for 1st PlaceOverall Performances and “Get it Out” & “I’m in Here” for choreography awards!

We congratulate our Scarlettes Performance Team on a great year! This season our dancers performed in Milltown’s Fourth of July Parade, the First Position Open House, Milltown Day, the OLOL Fall Festival and The Bier Family- Cancer Awareness Walk!
This season our Performance Team competed for the first time at the StarPower Competition in Montgomery, NJ. “My Boyfriend’s Back” finished 3rd overall and “Bang That Beat” placed 7th and also received a judges award We Got the Beat!
Way to Go dancers! We are looking forward to a great 2011-12 season!

Our dancers are excited to perform their routines today after countless hours of practicing and perfecting their steps. This year in addition to our students, teachers and dads- we have added our Moms to the show! They are thrilled to be performing for you today!Thank you for a truly AMAZING year! We hope you have taken the time to enjoy your children this year as much as we have. Each one is a very special part fo First Position, making our studio wonderful and unique! we appreciate the opportunity to teach, coach and continue to be inspired by your chidren, thank you!Our show title has been inspired by and dedicated to our Grandma. We are fortunate to have an inspiring staff of instructors. Our instructors have received many prestigious awards for their artistic and entertaining choreography. We take great pride in the creative atmosphere at First Position that nurtures our young students and builds confidence and strength of character in our dancers. Students and their families will always come first at First Position.
First Position offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, musical theater and gymanstics for pre-schoolers to teens.
